Vacant Position:

Receptionist

Experienced tourism industry receptionist required - for a person with ecellent customer service skills.  The successful applicant will also be required to work in the adjacent shop and bar areas.

Ideally, the applicant should be experienced, have an outgoing and friendly, 'can do' attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and have used reservation systems and MYOB Retail would be an advantage, as would having the ability to be able to work under limited supervision.  The successful applicant must be able to commit to at least the end of October 2010.

An interrest in the outdoors would be an advantage.

Although the following positions are not currently vacant (as of 17 October), these and similar employment opportunities are often available:

Kitchen Hand - Second Cook:

Must be experienced and efficient;  applications are welcome from persons who are hard-working and with a friendly disposition.  Required by 18 June.

Bar / Waiting / Housekeeping:

Persons with experience in Bar/Waiting and Housekeeping - must be hard-working and have excellent customer service attitude - ability to work in a team is a requirement of this position.

Tour Guides:

If you have tour guide qualifications, interests in astronomy and general skills, please do contact us as we are often in need of qualified personnel.
